This Field Guide is AWESOME!  

It’s from buffalo Point Elementary in Utah. Now, this is what I’m talking about!!!! The students even wrote an opera about nature.. Teacher Teresa Anderson wrote to us and said: 

 

We are located in Syracuse, Utah, just a mile from the entrance gate to Antelope Island State Park.  Since we are located so close to the Great Salt Lake we get to observe a lot of birds flying over our school.  This fall a flock of white-face ibis spent several weeks in the fields by our school. Thanks for the motivation to create a field guide.  My students have become more observant when they are outdoors and have learned a lot about the animals and plants in our schoolyard.  Last year they even created their own opera about some animals and a blue spruce tree that traveled to Antelope Island.  They wrote the story, the libratto, and the melodies.  Then they created their costumes and the scenery.  It was a hit!
